The IAC is an independent group of disability experts that give the NDIS advice from the perspectives of people with disability, family and carers and service providers. They think the NDIS could be better for people with psychosocial disability and have some ideas about how that could happen.

This talks about how the NDIS can help people with disability and their families, even if they are not NDIS participants. This is about making life better for all people with disability and their families, in lots of different ways. People used to call ILC 'Tier 2'.

Open letter to SMH - 'Primary disability sector supports NDIS, point blank'

Disability advocate Tricia Malowney wrote an open letter to Rachel Browne, journalist at the Sydney Morning Herald - in response to a December 7 article called 'Disability sector has grave concerns about NDIS roll out' - explaining that people with disability and their families are the primary part of the ‘disability sector’.

Disability housing institutions are beginning to close

There have been a few stories in the news recently about some of these institutions closing, and new types of housing are being built before the NDIS rolls out. Different groups of people have different opinions about it.

The conference was about how technology could be used by people with disability now and in the future.
